simple explanation on how the units are installed?
Where is the bidet shower made?
What is the shower head made from?
What is the maximum water temperature for the bidet shower hose?
The bidet shower hose should not be used with water temperatures higher than 60C.
After I use my bidet shower, a little water drips out the spray holes, is this normal?
Some people say you don't require a separate water isolating valve is this so?
The bidet shower is a quality made device and designed for high-pressure use. The odds of your bidet shower leaking are remote. However, it is a mechanical device with internal working parts that could malfunction and start to leak causing damage to your home or premises. So, please insist your bidet shower / hose is fitted to a suitable mains isolating valve such as our VAL0800 or the likes and remember to turn off your bidet shower after each use.
To maintain flexibility for using the bidet shower, we, along with every other bidet shower company, use a shortened version of a standard shower hose. A steel braided mains hose would be much too stiff and impractical to use. These standard shower hoses are not designed to constantly hold back mains water pressure, they will last a good 4 to 5 years if after use you turn the water supply of at the angle valve and release the residual water pressure in to the toilet by pressing the shower head trigger.
If left under pressure as you or your neighbours switch on taps you will notice the hose flinches slightly caused by momentary drop in water pressure with the pressure returning substantially above normal static pressure owing to kinetic energy, this constant flexing and relaxing of the hose causes the inner membrane to fatigue (by work hardening) then split.
So to conclude, please turn off the shower at the mains angle valve after each use and relieve water pressure, to leave on will subject it to work hardening by the constant expansion and contraction as water is turned on or off in the neighbouring area.
Please read the Installation section in our terms and conditions for further clarification
Please Note: We will not be responsible for any water damage caused from the sprayer, hose and fittings if left under continuous pressure, turning off the bidet shower valve and releasing the pressure will also considerably extend the life of both shower and hose.
